Well who happened up on Freerepublic first? You both signed up around the same time, right? That is so neat actually knowing another freeper. I only know everyone by their freeper names, and I have to imagine what everyone looks like. If I like what you write you get a favorable appearance in my mind, if not you are one ugly person.

We have both lurked for a LONG time, and when we got talking about it one day, I decided to sign up. Once I was addicted, I had to force ol' Guff into it!
It is great knowing people who think like I do. Most of my phriends are like-minded. They're a great refuge from all of the junk that happens in the world. I'm lucky!
I've attended some FR chapter functions and struck up acquaintances with some local FReepers -- a nice experience. Do you have a local FR chapter?
