I saw an article from the American Spectator which claimed that Edwards is not drawing in the crowds. Recently he attracted 300 in a room that held over 1000. According to reports many in attendance were not even paying attention claiming they had heard it before. Ever heard of Cheney only drawing 300?

This makes no sense to me. Mark Warner must have seriesly convinced them that they have a shot at taking Virginia.
But Roanoke? Sure they'll take Roanoke City, but that's not the best bang fer yer media buck.
