Think world poker tour. If the Iraqi's have established credibility of thier special forces that would be a good thing, entry or no.

What, again? Haven't we heard this before? He's looking more like Yassir Arafat all the time!

I bet we are going to see the Mehdi Army turn into the Melted-Away-Into-Najaf Army. Hello Falluja, Hello Kandahar, Hello Mogadishu. What part of letting them get away does the US not understand.

Wait for the details--maybe Sadr settled for a lesser Cabinet position, like Secretary of Agriculture.

Yeah, I bet it's an important position...at least judging from the amoung of "fertilizer" Saddam had stored.

al-Sadr's truces/ceasefires don't last as long as Arafat's do.

Only when he thinks he has lost will he really 'cease'. Until then, he will continue to use these truces to re-arm and re-organize his militia.

#14. A high level position in the Kerry-Edwards Campaign. Must relocate to Boston, MA.

This is starting to look like the way we've forced Israel to treat Arafat. He'll live to cause trouble again, and we'll likely regret it.

Hasn't al Sadr been charged with murder? Shouldn't he be taken in to custody for trial?
