Just try telling me that you have never, ever, done just that ... sped up so you could get to a station before running out ... somewhere out in the middle of no place!
[Monahans State Park comes to mind, the stretch eastward into Sierra Blanca, US 1 late at night, Oh yeah; but I always made it.
