It's not even the money spent to lock up lawbreakers that's at issue here, it's the secret spending of Federal tax dollars to influence voting on State law.

If you look at the ONDCP Budget, it looks like it spends about $520,000,000 dollars a year and has 126 employees. That's out of $12,000,000,000 a year spent on drug policy (enforcement and prevention) spent by the Feds.
