Now, they're going after three bobcat kittens they believe are under the back deck.

Future Viking Kittens here!

We saw a bobcat in Lago Vista (NW of Austin) several years ago. I heard there are porcupines in the area too, but have never seen one. We had a vet tell us that he had several people bring dogs into his clinic that had porcupine spines in their noses.

When I was at the Dallas Zoo the other weekend one of the folks working there told me that their bobcat had started out as a "guest." He was coming into the zoo at night and helping himself to some of the smaller mammals on exhibit. Well, they caught him and made him a permanent resident.

Lets see, we got the West Plano Wolves, the Plano Wildcats, and the Plano East Panthers. Now I guess we got Bobcats too!

Bobcats in the hot tub. In Texas.

I lived in Plano, TX for 20 years. Long before th population boom and used to see Coyotes daily. A couple of months before I moved, I came face-to-face with a Coyote while taking out the trash.

Amazing how animals adapt to urban areas.
