I work in the Richardson Telco corridor and have seen bobcats in the area here.

We have some walking/cycling trails around a little creek just up the road from my office. The place is loaded with everything from bobcats to armadillos to snakes of all sorts.

My friend, who lives in Shady Shores (N. of Dallas, almost walked into a bobcat one Sunday morning as he walked around the corner of his house. They both stopped and looked at each other and then the bobcat just walked away and across the street. He said they were about 6 feet apart.
