Negative, they are native Texas critters.

I know the porcupine are native to East Tx., but did not know they are in the central Tx. area. Of course, we never see most of the nocturnal creatures anyway. They eat while we sleep.

Have you ever seen a badger? They are out there too. Not very common, but can be found.
