Kerry's crew made a big mistake by bringing up the citation. It is almost as if the Swifties expected it. The response was perfect. O'Neill will quickly take the focus off the content of the citation and onto the authorship. Shines a little more light on Kerry's self serving nature.
the content is what is damning to the author (meaning it's Kerry's LIEs they've been criticizing all this time)
Jeez, Does O'Neill Sleep? The man is Amazing.
You are right. I should have said took the focus off the content relative to the Swift Vet by adding context (received it after leaving the military, only Kerry wrote up the incident, etc)
Brit covering one of the Lehman-signed citations right now with guest Lt Col Cowan.
kerry is turning into a tar baby. the harder he tries to get away from the swiftvet charges, the stickier the facts get.
to me the fact that lehman (who served under Reagan) signed the citations makes this thing stink to high heaven. using a document written well after the fact will just make the whole thing more interesting -- the public will want to know more, and some in the media will not be able to resist supressing this for long: many in the media would stab their own mother in the back...
seems to me lehman was just doing a political favor to help kerry, so just signed away whatever kerry wanted, no real cost to lehman except his ethics...
ah, the demons will look back at the week just before spidey II so fondly, when Michael Moore, POS, had his minute of fame.
it seems Moore hardly layed a glove on GWB, but the swifties are drawing blood, and the all-out old media effort to supress is just using up what little credibility they had left...
