But let me be the first to say:
This is an EX-PARROT!

I wonder if Darla Wynne knows ex-professor Kerri Dunn. They both seem to be the lesbian seagull type.

Oh dear,
I am torn...
I love Monty Python...
But I keep thinking of what I would do if someone did that to one of my animals...
But I keep thinking of the dead bird on the perch...
(Ok, I will laugh here and not let them know)

I suspect that the harassment and possibly the parrot incident were done by the witch herself. The fact that she is using the courts to censor people shows she has some control issues.

Very likely a set-up, inside job.
Much like "hate crimes" and other such incidents, many times they are done by the "victim" in an effort to generate sympathy and support.
I don't believe this incident happened as reported.

This is obviously the behavior of a deranged individual. Because I'm a heartless right-wing bastard with a whole set of social prejudices, I'm going to have to bet this is a hoax. It's obvious this fits solidly into the pattern. Even the DUers will probably not latch on to this woman's case as an example of Christian persecution here in America.

I had started a Pemex seismic crew in the jungles of Chiapas, Mexico.
Everything went well and we were going into town to celebrate.
It was dark and I was waiting for the crew to get ready
to party.
I heard plop, plop, thinking it was starting to rain,
I ran under a tree.
If you disturb wild parrots while they are roosting,
they lose all excess weight before they fly away.
I walked into the shower clothes and all, put on clean
clothes, went to town and partied.

Very few things get me really riled up but mistreatment of animals for ANY reason is one of them. Don't get me wrong I'm no supporter of PETA or any other such outfit and I enjoy eating meat and wearing leather shoes but doing something like this is just plain wrong. I hope these hypocrites screw up and get caught and punished like they deserve.

Darla Wynne isn't just another small town citizen who is being persecuted by the green-teethed locals, an impression that the article seems to leave.
She's been the assistant national director of WARD (Witches Against Religious Discrimination), an invitee to the Pagan Summit, Director of Prison Ministry for WARD, a prison chaplain for Wiccans, and in 1998, as a director, formed the board of WARD as a non-profit with Christine Craft, and Khristine Annwn Page.
Not exactly the shy, retiring type. Still doesn't justify illegal acts against her, but considering that good people suffer at the hands of bad people every minute of every day in this country, what would a reasonable person expect?
Reality bites. Sometimes.

Terribly sad about the parrot. But I have no sympathy for the freak. None. These people attack and attack Christianity and NORMAL people (there, I said it!) and expect us to bend over and take it. While the retaliation against the poor parrot was misguided in the extreme this woman should expect retaliation for her attacks against the faith and traditions of normal people. You have to understand that 'tolerance' is a one-way street: we have to tolerate them while they hound the crap out of us.

"I find it deplorable to see other people, who come in the name of Christianity, judge others so harshly," Glenn said. I find it equally deplorable that one would jump to that conclusion with NO evidence.
