I watched John Kerry's debate with John O'Neill on the Cavett show again. Here' s a man who scratched himself and took three purple hearts, who shot a wounded and fleeing teenager in the back and got himself a silver star, who then staged his own "heroic" deeds and filmed them for future campaign footage, who then came back and joined domestic Communists like Tom Hayden and Jane Fonda to stab his own comrades in the back. And here he is on the Dick Cavett show predicting that if America pulled out from South Vietnam -- a policy he was advocating and which his slander of his country and his comrades was intended to produce -- there "wouldn't be a bloodbath." He even compared America's military efforts to protect the freedom and lives of the South Vietnamese to the savageries the Communists had already committed against them and were about to commit again. John Kerry and his despicable comrades got their way. America did pull out and without American soldiers to protect them, the Communists proceeded to slaughter two and a half million Cambodians and Vietnamese in the months that followed. The blood of those Vietnamese and Cambodians is on John Kerry's head (and others like him). What I find puzzling is that perfectly intelligent people could even contemplate voting for a scoundrel like this.
Horowitz knows. Leftist ideology trumps reason every time. He lived it, wrote about it (Radical Son), and renounced it.
Clarity is good. Say what is true.
Intelligent leftists will paper over the genocide they inflict for socialist and communist political gain. Every time, every place, every one.

I've always wondered how anyone could vote for such a phony, traitorous liar. I ran across a thread ealier that suggested that people consciously choose to align with evil. I had never considered that but rather assumed they were simply misguided, deluded, etc.
Well, there is your problem. These people are driven by hatred and not by reason and intellect.

Never forget, JfK bears responsiblilty for 2.5 million MURDERS....he has nothing to lose, he knows it and is not worried about further murdering! He will do anything, anything to get the power in his hands!
In fairness, shooting a commie combatant with rocket launcher is not quite the same as shooting a "fleeing teenager". It certainly not silver star material however.

The same thing he would do to Iraq and it would be a repeat ALL OVER AGAIN! We CANNOT have this murderer running the country...it really struck me after reading this through about the parallels between his statements towards Vietnam and his statements today towards Iraq...The swiftboat vets have it absolutely correct: Kerry IS UNFIT FOR COMMAND...but, he needs to be fit for a jumpsuit (orange with lots of numbers above the chest pocket)

May 31, 2004 - Dr. Jerry Corsi and Jeff Epstein of Vietnam Vets for the Truth report that John Kerry's photograph is featured in the War Protestors Hall of the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City -- a clear indication of the value the Vietnamese communists place on Kerry's support of their efforts during the Vietnam War. The photograph was received in response to a general request last week for information documenting Kerry's activities on behalf of the enemy.

I totally agree: it's not medal material. This "fleeing teenager" sounded like a valid target. He was carrying a rocket launcher as I recall.
Also, this summary of Kerry just hits the ball out of the park for me. I think it is right on. Jacques Kerry blatantly lies, turns on his fellow comrades, stages pictures of self-aggrandisements, and supports the enemy. Thus he is not presidential material, nor even Congressional... and that can get pretty low.
Like the author, I'm flabbergasted by anyone that would support him. I don't think his supporters are blind, I think they don't care about personal issues, only about his support for campaign positions like socialism, and communism. There's also some that think "an enemy of my enemy is my friend."

With a slight alteration, that reminds me of the scene from Blazing Saddles where they're interviewing bad guys:

Kerry hated the Vietnam war, he bugged out early, he repudiated it as unlawful and unjustified. He condemned and slandered everyone (on our side) who fough in it. He repudiated his medals by throwing them away. He aided the enemy's efforts by demoralizing our troops and support for the war in the US. Now he has the nerve to use the same war as the centerpiece of his campaign and calls it "defending this nation". It'a amazing how FOS this guy is.
Ya got a contradiction there, David. Work it out...
