You would be very surprised. There is very little slippage away from their traditions and faith. They do westernize a little but more so in their dealing with westerners than in their own practices and beliefs.
But in 100 years, who knows?
20 yeras.......France is at least 1/3 Muslim. See it now folks, before the paintings and sculptures are transhed.
Even for such an eminence as Bernard Lewis, it's very risky to make predictions - especially about the future! A lot can happen in one hundred years.

When they start buying up the countryside and small towns and displacing the peasantry, I will start worrying. Until then, Europe will remain European.
If GWB's policy is implemented, we may end up saving Europe from itself. As free societies rise up from the ashes of theocratic states and dictatorships, a change in immigration will inevitably result. If freedom is part of the equation in the future of the ME then fanatisism will be tempered by hope. People stay put if these conditions are met.

gee, what was the first clue Europe would be ruled by islam? Madrid bombings? The Iraq war? No, that only brought home the problem. If they refuse to sacrifice everything they value including their life, they will be destroyed. It is that simple.
