Want to get away from the Iraq (news - web sites) war, slanted news reporting and the mud-slinging presidential election campaign that probably lies ahead? In the old days you could always find refuge from the sound and fury of politics by going to a movie. But now you may be better off at home. The silver screen has become as partisan a battleground as Democratic and Republican conventions. Filmmaker Michael Moore, director of the controversial political film 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' speaks to the media on the floor of the Democratic National Convention in Boston, July 26, 2004. Quoting from the caption:

Can someone tell me which politically-oriented movies out there are genuinely pro-American? The only politically-oriented movies I've heard of lately are decidedly anti-American and anti-Bush.
