Okay, what I want to know is Who is Chris Matthews? Is he the greeter at my local Wal-mart?????
It just occurred to me that with this SBVfT/Kerry/MSM/election event that many American's are being empowered. This will swell the freedom assets.
Sometimes Honesty takes prisoners and gives them a good roughing up, followed by Time in the Corner to see if the lesson took, before releasing them back into society. If reformed, Honesty and the former POW don't tangle again.
No. Thank you for the kind compliments.
Excellent article!
On Rassman- I really don't want to see us stoop to the level of the Dims in this. It seems to me that investigating his background makes us as bad as them. We are better than that. The truth is enough by itself, it will prevail.
Thanks.
All the L.A. talkshows were talking about the SBV today in Los Angeles. They were all repeating the DNC blastfax that the SBV work for Bush, Texas, blah , bah, blah, none of them dared to refute the charges the SBV have brought against Kerry. Kerry is toast.
indeed, your post is a good one amongst all the chest thumping here over the last few days - this story has taken over FR, talk radio, etc.
truth is, there is tremendous risk to Bush from this effort. and we didn't really need this story to defeat Kerry; but we have it now, Kerry is linking it directly to Bush (a smart political move) - so if it blows up in the swift vets faces, it blows up in Bush's too.
the current ad - with Kerry's actual testimony and the veteran's opinion about it - was the far better ad to run then getting into a set of "we said/they said" accusations.
Actually, honesty is a very personal character trait, or lack there of. A person acts. With that act they are either honest or not. Their is no gray area to honesty. That is what is meant by honesty takes no prisoners.
I understand.
What I'm getting at is sometimes circumstances that compel one to be honest or face the consequences are tinged with a bit of mercy to give the dishonest time to change their ways, letting them figuratively go into an Honesty POW corner and decide if they want to come clean. The higher-up the dishonest person is, the more difficult it is for them to get their head turned 'round.
One example of it not working: Nixon.
One example of it working: Chuck Colson.
There are many more examples of it not working than of it working.
Kerry is toast.
Yep, stick a fork in him. And the MSM will continue to discredit itself. Yet their saving grace is at once so simple yet seemingly horrifying.
LOL!
Gosh, try not to "candy-coat" it the next time!
;-)
There are many more examples of it not working than of it working.
This is the really compelling point where the pendulum swinging toward honesty will turn that right-side up. Increasingly and competitively it will be most prudent to turn to honesty.
Watching the juxtaposition of the SBV vs Kerry and the MSM is empowering.
Whenever they speak, the Swift Vets should now challenge Kerry to sign Form 180.
"The points are going to be Kerry's actions after Viet Nam; Talking before the Senate and MTP, Going to Paris, meeting about killing Senators, VVAW cronies and Cambodia."
The MIA in Vietnam committee, the Columbian drug "intersection" committee, the Logan airport security screw up among others.
The just don't want to pull the trigger!
