Kristol makes this case in a nutshell. Kerry's anti-war protest should not have included the vets themselves. One thing to disagree with official policy, but not against the vets

Bush doesn't need a photo op, he can do this quietly, and quite frankly, that's more his style ANYway.

As Brit would say: "You're living on another planet" if you think that the President is going to go to the Olympics or Iraq and not have his picture taken.

Kerry's lib defenders are the '60's anti-war crowd still fighting the war. How I wish they'd realize that WE ARE AT WAR NOW fighting for our very lives. The TROOPS are defending us and should be recognized NOW, not sneered at as they did the Vietnam vets then and the Swiftboat vets NOW.

Bill Kristol just did a marvelous job on Fox News Sunday. He wound up just shaking his head at Juan Williams, on camera. Williams pooped his diaper, as usual.

They should have said that Bush has no control over a 527 group and if he did try to stop them, it would mean ipso facto that SBVFT was an arm of the GOP.
