Kristol is quoting from the book....makes me wonder if behind the scenes McCain is in agreement with the SB Vets.

Juan's off his meds....he's calling this a "political conspiracy".

So. Accoding to Juan, it's illegitimate for people angry about a candidate's PUBLIC record to speak out.
Liberals have gone completely around the bend.

Kristol said on PBS that he read the book, impressed & explained that one of the POWs showing up in the latest ad is a prominent McCain supporter in 2000 campaign. Also, note that
NY Times reporter who is married to DeeDee Myers is slyming McCain as a selfish person vying for 2008 pres.run

Of course McCain is with the Vets. He may be a "maverick" but I'm getting the feeling a lot of the old Vietnam pain is coming back to him. For my $0.02 psychobabble moment, McCain tried to put a lot of this behind him for "closure" but you can only keep something repressed before it comes out.

Well it would HAVE to be "behind the scenes" if it involves McCain taking a conservative stand for something. Because to go public with it would require a profile in courage that simply isn't there. McCain's greatest caution has always been to NEVER say anything that would alienate his own party (the after-deadline media party).
