Juan defends the misguided policy Kerry bravely spoke to.

The RAT talking point will be that testifying to Congress about US atrocities and confessing to being a war criminal is the act of a patriot. I wonder how McCain and the Millions of other Viet Nam Vets will appreciate having their patriotism questioned.

That should p.o. plenty of vets. Here's a Letter to the Editor from another vet this morning.

They're already saying that Kerry wasn't really accusing the vets of these atrocities -- he was just repeating what he heard other people say.

Two problems with this. It says that a Senate Committee would deliberately go out of its way to have Kerry give it heresay testimony. And, the people who said that the views of the SBVFT cannot be believed unless they actually served on Kerry's boat (being within a few feet of it isn't good enough) are also saying that Kerry's testimony before that committee is believable even though he didn't actually see these atrocities for himself.
