A veteran is not allowed to have free speech? I guess in Chris Matthews' world it only counts if one's in favor of Kerry.

Dole was fantastic in Florida in 2000 and he was fantastic today. Yeah Bob Dole is bit more moderate in many things than many of us here but he is a loyal patriot who has given much to this country and he has more to give. Go Bob Go.
Dole made good points, should speak out more.

Dem Senator Bill Nelson says the "Truth is coming out now." and brings up the Chicago Trib writer as one who was there "commanding a swift boat right along side John Kerry."
I think the Trib writer has been promoted in the last week, hasn't he?

He saw some nasty combat in his day that would have made Kerry sing a different tune about his countrymen, one would hope.

What truth, Senator Nelson? Your colleague won't go on the talk shows or hold a press conference to answer tough questions. He acts like a three year old and wheedles and begs President Bush to call off the artillery. Kerry can't seem to handle a national campaign and that's the truth.
Actually Wolf has been one of the most even handed reporters on this issue.

Bob Dole has earned the right to be heard on the topic of kerry's war record. Glad he is speaking out and taking the flack, God Bless him.
Saw this segment and posted on the Sunday Show thread about it when someone pointed out this thread was made.
I posted earlier that Bob Dole was kicking rear and taking names.
He was excellent. I was very proud of him. My husband and I actually did a high five at one of his comments.
Can someone post the transcript of Dole? Sounds awesome!
