Dole wants to know how Kerry got three purple hearts without "bleeding". Dole is rocking.
Chrissy Matthews defines the idea of pseudo-pseudo-intellectual. The only thing worse than a psuedo-intellectual is a man that pretends to be one.
I think the vets are doing a great job of this. The medal controversy got them out in the public. I believe they were 'preparing the battlefield', so to speak. The second add had far more impact than it would coming out first. I see perhaps two more strong ones, kerry's pandering in paris with the VC and his trip back to Viet Nam. They are hitting very hard and directed blows.
I actually wrote in Bob Doles name for President when President Reagan ran the first time. I didn't trust Hollywood then and I don't now but I have no problem admitting I wasn't as politically sharp then as now. LOL

Bob Dole has earned the right to be heard on the topic of kerry's war record. Glad he is speaking out and taking the flack, God Bless him.

I disagree. As I pointed out yesterday, and Dole did today, Kerry's record in Vietnam is at the very least muddied. Kerry chose the 4 months in country to tout, especially at the convention. If he hadn't raised it, those who have a contrary view would not have a foundation to speak on. They do have a quarrel with Kerry's inflated claims and so that issue was challenged.
Now as we move to his anti-war protesting activities, the treachery is underscored and the backstabbing becomes stark. He betrayed his "band of brothers". His "no man left behind" chant from the convention is shredded as the truth emerges that that is exactly what Kerry did. Fled those men and left them behind and then stuck a knife in their backs.

When Kerry was dispatched to go to An Thoi with Lieutenant Tedd Peck(now Captain, USNR), Peck told him, "Kerry, follow me no closer than a thousand yards.If you get any closer,I'll teach you what a real Purple Heart is."

Yes, I saw this. Wonderful! Too bad Senator Dole lacked the killer instinct in his own campaign. Seemingly, when he was accused of being a Nixon wannabe he always tempered his remarks. Not today.

BTW, before one break Wolf was so rattled by Bob's strong showing he said Kerry had earned the "Silver Cross".
I believe he must have know someone who pulled strings and favors to get this guy his awards. Way back then he talked of being President. This is nothing more than an ego fulfilling dream for him. If this is all the democrats can come up with, they are losing it.

The farm boy from KANSAS has ALWAYS done that!!! It is very easy to separate the REAL hero from the fraud. Kerry talks and talks and exploits his service. The true warrior is virtually mum on the subject and will only reluctantly acknowledge he was EVEN in a theatre where combat existed and will ALWAYS praise their brethern, taking the light off themselves.
KERRY IS A FRAUD.....the "STOLEN VALOR" KIND of vermin, he has NO HONOR!!!.... NONE!!!
I don't think CNN replays Wolf's Sunday show, but there should be a transcript and CNN is pretty fast with their transcripts.
