It's all out there to find, if only the MSM would do their job.
===
Fliers were NOT "hanging" at the HQ.
A Kerry volunteer claimed he picked one up from there. Anyone could have put it on a table, including the Kerry volunteer himself, who claimed to have "found" them.
"Bill Shilling, a Kerry volunteer in Gainesville, says he went to the GOP offices there Thursday and picked up the flier from a pile of literature on the table. "
Your research is appreciated. It's your contribution to the Bush-Cheney re-election effort :-)
I don't know if you saw this.
The link below is a transcript of what transpired between McCain and Bush in terms of the exchange shown in Kerry's ad.
It is THE REST OF THE STORY. McCain's office should be contacted. That he is allowing that exchange to be portrayed the way it is by Kerry is outrageous.

Typical Republican cowardice. We have that SOB Kerry
on the ropes, and now one of the veterans is backing
off because someone put a flier in a Republican office?
This is amazing.
It's not cowardice. It's smart! Let Kerry and Swift Boat Members duke it out.
Couldn't it be that he was playing it safe so as not to have his appearance reflect badly to either side (Bush-Cheney) & Swift Vets. Why give the press anything else to make a mountain out of.

""This campaign would object to any sort of literature or promotion (from an outside group) placed within any Republican office," Bush-Cheney spokesman Taylor Griffin said Saturday. "The bottom line is, this campaign has no relationship with this group." "
hmmm. Compare this to Kerry and Michael Moore ...
Last night they were articulating here that the flyers were planted by a dem.
Your words show your ignorance of the rules and the political sense of this situation. I will expound:
1. Swift Boat Veterans for Truth is a Nonpartisan '527' organization that is AGAINST Kerry
2. Campaign finance LAW states the can be NO AFFILIATION or COORDINATION between '527's' and the campaign
3. The veteran had the wisdom to see that his appearance at the event MIGHT be used against SBVT and Bush campaign
4. Calling Republicans cowards for disavowing a flier supposedly 'found' by a RAT operative in GOP HQ displays your lack of knowledge of the situation.
I am grateful the Swiftie did what he did, given the situation.
I recommend you do a little research next time BEFORE you sling around the charge of COWARDICE.
We will support BOTH Groups!! TheBush Cam[aign AND the Swift Boats Vets for TRUTH!! GO VETS!!
#28..Actually I said that same thought in my post....2nd paragraph.
I wonder when the NY Times is going to run this graphic? It only seems fair. Oh yeah, they aren't really interested in fairness.
What we REALLY need to do is to get rid of the so-called "campaign finance reform" that abridges our free speech rights! But you are correct about the flyers. If some local GOP official was responsible for them being in the HQ, it was probably a violation of McCain-Feingold.
I agree, but for the current campaign that's not possible. We have to be SMART.
ABSOLUTELY! For once, we aren't acting like the stupid party. Those swift vets are the bravest men in the world! John O'Neill is an absolutely fantastic spokesman for them. I have yet to see him make a mistake, and I've been following his appearances closely. I don't know how he has the stamina he does. I think we all owe him a debt of profound gratitude, and all the prayers we can offer.
Nice.
Well .. I guess the dims don't mind going to jail either. But .. I sure do. I think the guy did the right thing. It means the dims have been left with NO ISSUE .. which they might have had when the SBV spoke before a rally possibly promoted by a local campaign office.
I believe the flier was planted .. because no self-respecting dim would ever be caught inside the headquarters of a Bush campaign office .. unless they were up to some "dirty trick" .. they are a "corrupt, lying bunch".
