Kerry has declined to have "New Solidier" republished over the years and reportedly bought up most of the available copies in 1972, after his opponent in a congressional race used it to paint him as anti-American.

Let's not get too overconfident. Kerry has the force of the mainstream media on his side. All the stuff we know about him - the lies, the flipflops - is not being reported, and Joe Sixpack doesn't have a clue. He knows only what he reads from the AP dispatches or on the network news, and we all know that those sources report nothing negative about Kerry. It's up to us to spread the word about the Vietnam lies.

I checked Amazon and they have one or more on sale starting at $500. That is about $495.99 more than I would pay.

About 1-2 weeks ago there were 3 copies of Kerrey's book available from private parties via amazon.com. If they're still there, check out the asking prices.
