General Tommie Franks: I AM VOTING FOR GEORGE W. BUSH

General Tommie Franks just announced that he plans to vote for George W. Bush. The annoucnement was made at 8:30am on KLIF 570AM in Dallas TX. The announcement was made on the Darrel Ankarlo program.
This is significant because one week ago, the news media ran multiple stories when Franks stated that John Kerry was qualified to be President. I wonder if the press will give as much coverage to Frank's official endorsement of Bush?

People, here, were thinking he'd wait until one of the convention days - correct?

So, what took him so long to decide? Why the big decision?
This has always seemed weird to me.... is it because he is Cavalry? (sorry, couldn't resist)

He as good as said this a few weeks ago in an interview on Sean Hannity's radio show. Does anyone know if this is his "official" announcement, or just another broad "hint?"

We all knew who Franks would vote for.
The more interesting question is who is his brother, "Ballpark" Franks, is going to pull the lever for?
To: Dutchgirl
Official or not, I specifically heard him say "I AM VOTING FOR GEORGE W. BUSH"
To: Bluntpoint
Who's Barney Franks voting for?

The "Brown" candidate.
Look to the "Hershey Highway" and you will find the Barney choice.

Well... let's think about this... Tommy Franks maybe a great guy. Probably is. But, Remember Colin Powell. Couldn't 'decide' if he was a Republican or a Democrat (has he yet??)... My point... You don't reach the upper ranks of the military without being something of a 'politician'. What 'moved' General Franks may never be known. But I wouldn't believe he was "undecided". MHO..
