South Vietnam was a Roman Catholic country.

French Indochina had RC ties, but the country was never predominantly Catholic.

You are right and I stand corrected. I've followed his career since I've been interested in politics. He is an amazing person, despite his politics. I'm actually amazed he's got as far as he has! If you are from the New England area, there are countless stories about Mr. Kerry. He has, as I'm sure all have, done good things for some but for most he's just a rich snob. That doesn't make him unqualified it just speaks more to the character of the man. Again, I stand corrected.
