Michael Schiavo Fails To Show For Deposition For Second Time In A Month
St Petersburg, FL – For a second time in less than a month, Michael Schiavo has failed to appear for a court ordered deposition in the guardianship case of his wife, Terri Schindler-Schiavo. Mr. Schiavo’s deposition was scheduled for today. This makes the third time Schiavo has not complied with a court ordered deposition.
In a July 2004 ruling, Judge Greer of Pinellas-Pasco County’s Sixth Judicial Circuit ordered that both Michael Schiavo and Jodi Centonze (Schiavo’s fiancé since 1997 and mother of his two children) could be deposed by attorney Patricia Anderson in the guardianship case involving Terri Schiavo.
Mr. Schiavo’s first failure to comply was on August 2, 2004, when attorneys representing him claimed, after the fact, he had not had enough time to prepare for a deposition. Mr. Schiavo and his fiancé were then rescheduled to a later date in August.
Citing a family emergency, attorneys representing Mr. Schiavo rescheduled once again and set his deposition for August 23, 2004 and Centonze’s deposition for September 2, 2004. However, no depositions have been yet taken as Mr. Schiavo’s attorneys further argue that the order to do so was oral and not in written form. The matter is still pending.
Michael Schiavo has sought to end his wife’s life by dehydration and starvation since 1998, and also previously ordered that she be deprived of medical treatment for a life-threatening infection. Her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler of Florida, have fought to remove him as their daughter’s guardian and gain the right to provide her care and rehabilitation.
Mr. Schiavo is rarely, if ever, present during hearings in the matter. Additionally, he has claimed, through his attorneys, that depositions conflict with his work schedule.
The volunteers with the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation view the behavior of Mr. Schiavo and his attorneys as deliberate stalling or stonewalling tactics as the date for oral arguments at the Florida Supreme Court on August 31, 2004 approaches.
Mr. Schiavo has been the guardian of the person of Terri Schindler-Schiavo since the early 1990s, following a medical episode that left her cognitively disabled. Over the years that followed, Terri’s parents have argued in court that he is unfit to remain her guardian, pointing to denial of rehabilitation, lack of appropriate medical care, failure to comply with mandated guardianship reporting and the refusal of simple treatment of an infection that would have lead to her death.

I have to sometimes wonder if Pat Anderson is not secretly in collusion with the other side. So many stances that could have been taken weren't, and so many opportunities such as this one to push the courts and I never hear that Ms. Anderson has fought the non-appearances.
Sorry, I realize that she's working against corrupt judges and a lot of money directly through the husband and indirectly through the left, not to mention the leftist media who constantly misreport the true case and that she's doing it out of her own pocket for the most part, but I just get frustrated with it all.
Gotta keep on praying, informing people and work to get Jan Govan elected so that the residing judge is one who follows the rules and not his own agenda.
You couldn't be more wrong about Pat Anderson. You're just getting frustrated with the corrupt system that she's working against.

IIRC, Jeb tried to have his case heard in Tallahassee on the grounds that it wasn't properly served to him there (in writing), but the court decided that Jeb in essence agreed to it in Pinellas courts because his office was in phone contact with Felos. I sure hope the courts won't look in the other direction seeing as they have already ruled that oral contact is permissable.

Then give up your guardianship Mr. Greedy and let your wife be taken care of by someone who actually cares and go marry your mistress you have a family with.

What in the world is going on here? Why bother deposing them if it will only be oral? Isn't this just more smoke and mirrors? This is absolutely unbelievable!!
Getting away with murder.
What happened is that Judge Greer ordered the depos could take place orally. He has not yet issued a written order. That is what Schiavo's attorneys are hanging this on, even though he will have to issue one eventually.
You're right. Michael Schiavo is getting away with murder and Judge George Greer will do nothing to stop him. It's a travesty.
It's just incompetence. I've been railing against her for ages now. I think she's the most inept lawyer I've ever seen. The Schindlers would do well to get another lawyer. She might fit in with their comfort level, but she's not doing anything for their daughter, Terri. Please, people, get another lawyer!!!

Judge Greer is either totally incompetent or he is corrupt or maybe both. This is absurd. Since Michael does not even have time to show up, he certainly does not have the time to be a guardian to his wife.
The longer this goes on the more I am convinced that Terri was just Laci, Lori and he didn't quite finish the job. Now he wants to starve her for fear of her being able to tell on him someday
I don't know how the Schindlers stand it.
But I do know one thing. Terri is a FIGHTER. She if fighting for her life as she truly lives as a POW under the horrendous and vicious husband. A man so sick, he has used his concubine's mother as a baby sitter to Terri's parents when they have visited Terri.
I dispise this subhuman grunt.
But MS could not KILL Terri without the help of Judge Greer. SO LET's GET JUDGE GREER to answer, BEFORE THE SUPREME CT HEARINGS...as to WHY HE ALLOWS campaign contributor Bushnell, and death channeler FELOS to MOCK HIS ORDERS.
