So an Executive Order can overturn law?
I hate to break this to you, but the CP candidate knows he couldn't end abortion on his first, second, third of forth day in office...or at all. He knows that, but he will promise it anyway. It is very easy to promise people whatever it is they wish...when you know you don't have to deliver.
I forgot. The other propaganda ploy is that you have no other choice.
Ah, pat buchanan put a gun to your head and forced you to abandon all principles and campaign so hard for him...you had no choice. Pathetic...but thanks for inviting me into your discussion. I plan to participate fully. Now, about those two questions you are avoiding?
I agree farm. The Rs and the Ds just expect us to vote for them, no matter what they do.
Where can we go?
If only some people would open their eyes to that reality.
A conservative friend on this forum has said he didn't care if Kerry won because the legislation will be the same no matter what but the Rep will pass less of it with a Dem in the white house.
I didn't see the questions.
Ask me?
No, it's the eski-moo who is avoiding the questions. It seems he is very selective on when he believes principles are important or not. He gets shy when that's pointed out.
I've heard the same thing from several who call themselves conservative. Heck, we've got folks who call themselves conservative who parrot Michael Moore, almost word for word.
Now most people, regardless of what they "call" themselves, understand the differences between President Bush and Senator Kerry. It's not very difficult...I guess it all just depends on your temperment.
These party propagandists work these threads sometimes 10 to 12 hours a day. They become confused quite often.
There point had more to do with the Congress than the President. Congress is going to pass what they are going to pass and most is hard to distinguish by party. A Republican majority will be less inclined to pass stuff a Dem President will sign and will fight anything he wants passed. I understand his point.
Confused...in the same way you are over principles? First they matter almighty, next they don't? Yep, you're confused...and embarrassed for having your duplicity revealed.
Don't matter, we keep doing the same thing.
So we keep getting the same thing.
Then they attack you with silly inuendo when you point that out.
Kerry doesn't represent me.
The Republican Congress is has still not learned how to be the majority, whereas the Democrats learned how to be the minority overnight. That isn't the President's fault, it's the fault of the spineless Republican leaderhip in Congress. Place the blame squarely where it belongs.
The foolishness in your friends opinion is that under their scenario we would simply end up with the same weak Republican Congress, strong Democratic Congress and Kerry as President.
That is foolish and dangerous.
Then perhaps you should simply withdraw from life all together. In your scenario there is absolutely no way out...it's finished. That's sad but it's your life.
Actually, pointing out your position on principles is pretty silly but it's not ineundo.
Poor eski-moo...he just can't figure out whether principles matter or not. What a chump.
