During the 1996 election, Marsh served as the GOTV director for the Massachusetts Democratic Party, which resulted in the defeat of two Republican Congressmen, the re-election of United States Senator John F. Kerry, and the largest plurality for President Clinton in the country. During the 1994 election cycle, her clients included United States Senator Edward M. Kennedy and every Democratic member of the House of Representatives. In addition, Marsh directed Victory [OE]92 for the Democratic Party, managing 212 races overall and succeeding for the first time in history to re-elect every Democratic state senator and representative as well as win nine Republican legislative seats. Marsh has worked for a number of Democratic elected officials in policy and campaign positions as well, including Senator Kennedy during his campaign for president, Governor Michael S. Dukakis and Joseph P. Kennedy, II of Citizens Energy Corporation.
As a "Democratic Strategist" I hope she is held accountable fot her comment that GW Bush "betrayed this country when he didn't fight in Viet Nam"

Maryann Marsh is among the worst partisans. I had to turn off the TV and go for a walk after she said Bush betrayed his country by not serving in Vietnam. She was given a chance to retract but repeated the slur again!
