Singer and actress Mandy Moore is furious at being "outed" as a secret Republican in the new issue of America's Details magazine. The publication's upcoming September edition lists Adam Sandler, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jessica Simpson, Shannen Doherty and Moore as silent supporters of current US President George W. Bush who don't join the campaign trail and make their political views known, unlike loud and proud Democrats Ben Affleck and Barbra Streisand. However, the A Walk To Remember beauty has angrily denied she supports Bush and his party. Her publicist tells American website Pagesix.Com, "Mandy is not, nor has she ever been, a Republican."
BTW, Shannen Doherty has been a vocal Republican for years.
But between Saved and this kind of attitude it seems increasingly doubtful.

A Walk to Remmember was a very pro conservative movie. Shame on you Mandy.
IIRC, she led the Pledge of Allegiance during the 2000 convention.
Why would anyone think that someone who played in the Christian bashing movie, "Saved" would be a Republican?
Is this somebody I should know? Should I care? Is there a connection between her and Michael Moore that should be investigated?
I would bet she is a republican or at least a Bush supporter but trying to shore up support in her liberal-infested career world by denouncing the accusation. She is trying not to be blacklisted.

Well, whoever she is, she sounds like a pinhead. But then, she is an actress.
The Boston gossip pages are also filled with a possible GOP convention visit by Super Bowl hottie Tom Brady. (Remember the State of the Union and the subsequent whining from the Kerry camp - "we thought he was on our side!")
I always kind of had a thing for Shannen, even after the whole late 90s trashy phase with the fighting and everything.
Now that I know she plays for our side, I think the thing for her would be a nice, middle aged conservative guy who likes cadillacs, guns, motorcycles and cigars. 8-)
Don't worry Mandy, after "Saved" we don't claim you either.
Adam Sandler supports bush?
I firmly believe she used the christian airwaves to get a leg in the "scene". If you listen to her christian music there isn't much there as far as "praise and worship".
Now Third Day is a whole other group!
Third Day is going to be performing at the RNC, and they are (IMO) the NUMBER 1 Christian music band!!!!
Their music exemplifies their belief and christian ideas, and there is no doubt the Holy Spirit is in their music!!
I've heard of her, but never heard her songs nor seen her movies. I'm at the point in my life in which I choose my entertainment very carefully.
