Wrong, wrong, wrong. Didn't you ever learn the color code system for matching your spirits to your desserts, similar to red meat-red wine; white meat/white wine? Captain Morgan is for drenching your yellow cake. For chocolate cake you're going to need Bailey's. (Seriously, rum drenched yellow cake is pretty good.)
