Roosevelt campaigned on a hatred of the wealthy to a point where in 1936 his most influential supporter of Al Smith (D) (ran against Hoover) wrote the threats Roosevelt was creating to our Democracy.
I believe it was Roosevelt started the hatred for the Republican party through his class envy.
Note this quote from him during the war. I wonder if he would of continued his plan after the war was over?
Your profits are going to be cut down to a reasonably low level by taxation. Your income will be subject to higher taxes. Indeed in these days, when every available dollar should go to the war effort, I do not think that any American citizen should have a net income in excess of $25,000 per year after payment of taxes." - President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Radio Broadcast, April 28, 1942 (Referring to Seven-Point Program)
Steve; The media protrayed Roosevelt as for the little man and against big business when in reality he was for the Big business. Hoover was protrayed as for big business when in reality he wasn't. He didn't trust big business and didn't like the agenda that big business had in mind.....I discovered this in my research. The propoents of the NWO then, controlled the media to make sure that FDR was elected. It worked.
