Hot Dang!!!
He was on Rush's show a little over a week ago. The man was incensed about Kerry. When I saw he signed this letter I was not surprised, but boy, am I pleased.
Just terrific and you Californians are right to burst with pride. He done good.
LOL! Hey, hey! Ho Ho! Kerry sign the one-eight-o!
Dang. Cleland served honorably in Vietnam and now he is reduced to being a photo-op by a Senator who called him a "war criminal".
Also ex-POW.
As I understand, the letter that Cleland and Rassman are getting is from the SwiftVets for Truth, not from Bush directly, because that would be coordinating with a 527.
Is this correct?
Cleland is totally being used by the Kerry camp. What a shame.
All should read the criteria for receiving the Purple Heart, Kerry did not qualify for his first.
I don't care for those type of comments...
No. The letter is not from Bush, and it is not from the Swiftee organization. It is from a different group of veterans, that has nothing to do with the Swiftees.
She said, "Ginsburg was forced to resign." The CNN anchor did NOT correct her.
Now she's reporting on Cheney's gay daughter, but she said Cleland has arrived.
Paul Ginsberg will be Wolf blitzer's guest today on CNN at 5 pm EST.
Or his third.
Jill Dougherty for CNN just reported that Cleland and Rassman are at the ranch.
I didn't see any footage of the arrival...
make that Benjamin Ginsberg. CNN cutting away, looks like we won't get video of Cleland presenting his letter. hee hee
CHECKMATE
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
At press time Democrats and the Washington press corp were searching for an interpreter.
LOL! Gawd, what a day.....!
Steve Centani for Fox at the Ranch says Cleland and Rassman enroute and says he doesn't think they'll get in as they had no invitation and the Bush people only heard of the trip last night.
Centani said after they're turned away (he assumed) Cleland would go to the school to meet with the press.
Centani quotes from the Bush people calling this stunt and odd bit of political theater.
Centani seems unaware of the letter and the delegation cited above.
Too bad it ain't Duke Cunningham.
Cunningham's the real deal - ace, Navy Cross, TWO Silver Stars, and the victor in what is arguably the only engagement where the top aces of two countries at war faced off against each other (Cunningham, with four kills, shot down North Vietnam's top ace, Colonel Nguyen Toon, aka "Colonel Tomb" - who had 13 kills).
