Why don't you like Michelle Malkin, is it a personality issue or what?

You fit in where the WOT terrorism will be won and Left wing nut judges will not be appointed.
The WOD debate has no traction until the WOT is perceived won.

Not really. No true conservatives are opposing Bush. Pretenders and hallucinators don't count with me.

Perhaps there is hope.....but that doesn't mean people should get complacent. The enemy is still present, its just their numbers that "may" be shrinking.

"One student laid out a conservative case for Kerry: "When a Democrat is in office and proposes the same policies that Bush has proposed, Republicans act Republican and kill them," said Aakash Raut, 23, a senior at the University of Illinois at Springfield, in a heated debate with pro-Bush students. "And you have actually more conservative government than you do if a Republican is in the White House.""
I've been telling my family this for years. Glad to see I'm not the only one who sees it.

The reasons I vote for Republicans:
* Tax cuts.
* Competence in foreign policy and national security matters (there is the cocasional screw-up, like blacklisting the AUC - note to Secretary Powell: When somebody is putting the hurt on narco-terrorists like FARC, the correct response is schadenfreude, NOT blacklisting the guys who are putting the hurt on FARC).
* In general, an aversion to burdensome regulations when compared to the Democrats (they need to repeal the ephedra ban).
* Much more often than not, good judges.
That said, it would be very hard for me to be voting for someone like Tom Tancredo. I'd strongly consider other options.

What is your beef with Tom Tancredo? When I think of Republicans I dislike names like Snow and Jeffords come to mind, not Tancredo.

I guess I should find another label for myself then.

THANK YOU! That's it in a nutshell. Being anti-drug war doesn't make me a f***ing hippy communist.

there is the cocasional screw-up, like blacklisting the AUC...Just because they're druglords and have a penchant for dismembering poor peasants alive with chainsaws doesn't mean the US Government shouldn't be denying them support...(/sarc)

Take Ithaca College. When foundation officials described it to me, it sounded like a suffocating gulag. I was told that a Bay Buchanan speech had been reported to the college's Orwellian-sounding bias-related-incidents committee and that professors in the politics department openly sniggered at Republican kids in class. Ithaca is the City of Evil.

No need to apologize for Buying Time...it is a slimey rag but you bought it to read the insightful article, we know you're not really viewing it for the leftward bias...(>snicker!)
