Bush should continue to stay miles above this dog fight, which is essentially between the Vietnam Veterans who were wronged by Kerry, and the desparate Kerry campaign which now finds themselves at the bottom of a big, mud-filled hole.
The best thing President Bush can do is just stay away and keep repeating his mantra that the 527s are wrong (even though I don't necessarily think so, and perhaps the Bush team doesn't either.)
Disagree. George W. Bush is the President of the United States. Thugs and publicity whores don't get access to him upon demand--GWB did the right thing, at the right time.
