The could easily have shown Cleland in the process of handing the letter with his good arm, cropped only to reveal the two men and the letter exchange. The fact that the cameraman has been positioned in this way, using a wide lens to encompass all of Cleland's disability telegraphs how the story is going to be covered by a mile. Conservatives have got to stop thinking that if we just make a dramatic enough presentation, people will have to accept it and finally, finally print the truth.
