DID THE DOG GO INTO CAMBODIA? DID THE DOG BARK AT THE CIA MAN, THUS PROMPTING THE CIA MAN TO GIVE KERRY THE HAT? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DOG?

This Washington Times story by John McCaslin raises a host of new questiosn for John Kerry:

"VC surfaces A new four-legged angle -- actually a dog named "VC" -- has suddenly materialized surrounding Sen. John Kerry 's swift boat service in Vietnam.

In a 2004 presidential candidate questionnaire for Humane USA, Mr. Kerry was asked whether any pets have had an impact on his life.

"I have always had pets in my life, and there are a few that I remember very fondly," Mr. Kerry replied. "When I was serving on a Swift Boat in Vietnam, my crewmates and I had a dog we called VC.

"One day as our Swift Boat was heading up a river, a mine exploded hard under our boat," he continued. "After picking ourselves up, we discovered VC was MIA (missing in action). Several minutes of frantic search followed, after which we thought we'd lost him. We were relieved when another boat called asking if we were missing a dog."

Said Mr. Kerry: "It turns out VC was catapulted from the deck of our boat and landed, confused but unhurt, on the deck of another boat in our patrol."

J.J. Scheele, program director of Humane USA, confirmed yesterday that her organization did, in fact, receive the above statement from the Kerry campaign.

No military records on Mr. Kerry's Web site, which aides say is a complete accounting, mention a mine exploding under his boat or any dog. The only report of a mine detonating "near" Mr. Kerry's PCF 94 was March 13, 1969, when Mr. Kerry says he was injured and a man knocked overboard."

The dog was later recovered by another boat.

I think you need to take another look. Your comment could read as if the dog fell into the water. But Kerry's report says the dog was blown not into the water, but onto another boat!

That's some explosion, and Kerry's boat could carry on...

Excuse me? I thought Kerry has affirmed, along with the press, that the boats work too far apart for this to be possible? You know, as in "not serving on the same boat so you don't know what happened"? Since I'm a conservative I must be wrong, silly me!

So, Kerry went back to pick up the dog... not Rassman.

Combat K-9's for Bush do not endorse this thread.

They were wondering about the dog....looking around frantically for him?

Ummm...weren't they under enemy fire at the time?

I dunno, but if that was me, the whereabouts of a puppy would be the LAST thing on my mind...until I got to safety.

Kerry's dog story sounds like it's right out of Apocalypse Now.  It's in the original movie and Redux. Another striking similarity, while it's logical to have occurred in real life, is where Chief Phillipssays: :"Sanpan off the port bow -- sanpan off the port bow." The chief said: paraphrasing: "We have to check it out. They've been running supplies up the river". They proceeded to lose their cool and shot up the boat and innocents then found a puppy in a basket.

Later in the movie after another moment of mass confusion and return fire Lance (surfer guy) calls out: "Where's the dog?! Where's the dog?!"

LOL

Yep. He was also a chef, a saucé. Ala, Jay 'Chef' Hicks -- a French chef from New Orleans. Which was from the original movie. It wasn't until twenty years later in Redux that the French political scenario returned to the movie.

None of them true.

Now that is ridiculously slanderous of you. In fact, I had a Lefty tell me just today, that Kerry is telling the truth, as is Move-On and that the 200+ SBVets are lying "scumbags" paid for by Karl Rove and have been utterly refuted on every claim.

Now we have the dog story, complete with a convenient picture of said entree... cause you see he was, as Zon. pointed out, a French Saucer-guy. They chased a tiger through the jungle. Their Swiftboat hit a mine that sunk the #3 boat, throwing Rassman into the water and VC onto the #4 boat. Later they were torpedoed by a Jap sub while delivering A-bomb parts in the South Pacific and nearly the entire crew eaten by sharks, but not before Kerry rescued them in a Klingon Bird of Prey captured in battle and propelled around the sun back in time to pick up a humpback whale and deliver it to the planet Cambodia in the Vega sector.

I'm there, Man. You just need to have faith.

Guess I dont have the faith. Kerry is such a wacko, can anyone explain how in the flyin' hell this guy polls at 50%? A friggin' dead heat against a decent and visionary leader such as Bush? What gives? Is this country that far gone? (rhetorical question)

The polls are likely as accurate as the so-called News. The landscape has changed, beyond the pundits ancient biases and methodologies. The secrets of America are yet retained.

It aint over 'til its over and we really do not know until the Ketchup lady sings.

Keep hammering the front line!
