Well they had Arnie at 25 before the election when the final vote total showed him coming in at 48%. I would say about ....... that much Kentucky windage. Note they say Kerry has been leading in their poll all year. But that was all before the little swiftie duck took to the field and decided to take on the SS Kerry.
They spend $65 million and get blown up by $300k. Sounds about right.

BUsh is not just up 3 ..he is up 3 in Registered voters! That means more like 6 in likely voters. Plus the LA Times fudge factor on top of that.
This could be double digits by the end of the Convention.

It doesn't really surprise me that you know what's being posted at DU.

Yep, add 4% if they used "registered voters" instead of "likely", then adjust for Dem-heavy sampling (usually). But then again, after you add 4% or more RAT election fraud, it comes out about right.

We owe the Swiftees a great debt of gratitude.
Thank you, gentlemen.

[Pulls wrinkled paper from pocket and reads ] Folks, this is news that will not aid victory. Only one thing aids victory and that is GOTV. Please call the campaign and volunteer to register new voters in GOP neighborhoods, preferably in battleground states. If it's close weird things can happen. We must expand the electorate and expand it with GOP voters. Please do this. It is a small time commitment to generate more votes.

I think Bush has everything going for him right now, but he's gotta take advantage of the ammo that the left has laid at his doorstep. In the debates Bush should focus on Kerry's public service (or lack of) and leave the military issue to the Swiftees (they're doing a fine job of that). Kerry is obviously mortified of his Senate record and that's exactly where Bush should go. A two pronged approach--Bush from the legslative angle, the Swiftees from the military. Add to that any October surprise the pubs have in their back pocket (a major WOT coupe perhaps) and Kerry will be on Thorazine by mid-November.

Nah, they're simply not as far off as they usually are... LA Times would rather argue its a "dirty campaign" bounce than a convention bounce.
The decoder key to LA Times polls are their partisan sampling... This one shows a decent comparison of Republicans to Demonrats.

I sense a "silent majority" out there. I sense decent people who are outraged with the blind hatred being spewed by the anti-Bush people. Especially the Hollywood set with their disgusting displays of hatred everytime they get in front of a microphone. Michael Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, Linda Ronstadt, Barbara Streisand, Alec Baldwin, etc. Decent people don't want to align themselves with scum such as this. Now a lot of these decent people aren't going to go around wearing their politics on their sleeves. Many of them just go about their daily business and don't bother engaging the lunatic left. They are just going to show up this November and make themselves heard at the ballot box.

Point taken. However, if we see several polls moving the same way, then it more than sandbagging or an anomaly.

According to the story, 18 percent of respondents "believe that Kerry misrepresented his war record and does not deserve his war medals."
They play this as a very small number, but to have nearly 20 percent of respondents feel that Kerry is a fraud is disasterous for his future. This is a major credibility problem for Kerry.
To: pantseatflyer
BTW, that ugliness took a VERY long time to develop. One of his major problems is that there is no "attractive" inner being for him to fall back on -- to present to the public. He has let evil consume him and he is forever unattractive to anyone who would look deeply for the truth.

Folks this is
BIG!!!
This is not only a good news for Bush, it is good news for the Swiftvets. It is good news for all Vietnam Vets! It is good news for bloggers and internet web services. It is good news for talk radio.
It is BAD news for Kerry. It is BAD news for the Democrats.
It is TERRIBLE news for the liberal mainstream media!! They are losing their monopoly on information! They just got one stinkin' black eye!
To: dangus
Thanks for posting the sampling results. I refuse to register with them, so I was wondering if it was 14% Dim heavy like a few moths ago.

Saw it, but I am not quite sure how much or in what direction the polls would be in the differences between the two groups.
