Ya want sympathy for the insurrectionists? GO TO FREDERICKSBURG! Pennsylvania is YANKEE TERRITORY. It's only true to what Gettysburg IS. What, you want good press for your failed invasion from the people you invaded? Not gonna happen.

If only the Confederates had boycotted Gettysburg to begin with, things might have turned out quite differently.

Gettysburg is definitely Yankee territory, way over-commercialized and poorly maintained.

Geez. Can we have at least a little historical accuracy here? If you want to talk about invasions you need to start with Manassas where the north began the conflict by invading Virginia. It's not called the War of Northern Aggression for nothing.

Pennsylvania is YANKEE TERRITORYThat Macdonalds right on the G'burg battlefield is a sure sign it's Yankee country.

Apparently, you have not driven around Gettysburg much. The private citizens of Gettysburg fly the Confederate Battle flag in greater numbers than most rural southern counties. The citizenship of Gettysburg, ironically is very sympathetic - and quite "un-Yankee-like".
During the very days of the Gettysburg battle only a few miles north in York, PA over 15,000 people were meeting as representatives to a convention regarding the illegal war that Lincoln was waging.
Pennsylvanians fought valiantly at Gettysburg - but not because they were your type of Yankee.
