Exactly. And this is something that even non-conservative voters can grasp. It has nothing to do with his ideology; it has to do with his character and abilities.

Do we really want a "follower" to face the terrorists?

To me, it says he's a playboy -- likes the status of being Senator but would rather be off playing with his expensive toys than working.
