Roger is oK until he blathers on about the moderate wing of the republicans and all they have done to 'save' California.

Where's Walter Williams?

I'm listening. I'm in the middle of reading his book. His recounting of his service in Vietnam stands in stark contrast to Kerry's, he is a true warrior.

Guess that this week he wasn't "black, by popular demand" ;-)

OTOH, Roger did an excellent job of explaining away today's scare articles re poverty, those lacking health care, etc.

I am so impressed with Franks. I saw him the other day at the local Costco and got a signed book from him. He is such a good person. Although he was signing hundreds of books, he individually thanked each person for buying his book. And he really meant it, he shook hands and really connected with each individual.

This guy is one of the greatest warriors in modern times and is a really good person. If you get a chance to get an autographed book, do it. The experience is well worth the time waiting in line.

"I'm listening. I'm in the middle of reading his book. His recounting of his service in Vietnam stands in stark contrast to Kerry's, he is a true warrior."

I finished it last week. One of the surprising things I noted towards the end was Frank's admission he suggested that the President come out and publicly thank the troops for a job well done, for a "mission accomplished". Franks dryly notes he had no idea of the ramifications of that suggestion.

Of course, the media will never report that aspect, only use this as a means to bash Bush.

Which is why I still read books, and don't bother much with newspapers any more.

btw, its a well written book, isn't it? I thoroughly enjoyed it, as compared to Stormin Norm's book which I had to fight through at some points.

Plea to any 24x7 subscriber ... Rodger read in the first hour a letter from a Vietnam Vet about his experience as he returned home from Vietnam ... please post it from today's transcript!!! It describes perfectly the environment Kerry and his ilk established for our returning servicemen and women.

I'm only about 100 pages in but it's very readable and hard to put down.

The transcripts don't usually go up until 6pm. Also if it's on the paid side of the site we are not allowed to do it. But I'll see what I can do - if it's on the free side no problem.

Don't think they do transcripts for guest hosts.

Unfortunately, it's part of every author's book conract -- The obligatory book tour, to include signings, talk shows, radio shows, etc.

Ah...Liberal showing her true colors today. She said she believed 75% of the Vietnam vets were responsible for the atrocities Kerry referenced. Made me sick.

I agree. I do not like CINOs any longer. Even the bots here on FR are getting on my nerves. Sean Hannity finally blasted...yes blasted...Bush for his anti-1st Amendment stance on the swiftees. Thank you Sean.
