Ah, Reuters (You won't believe this one!)

AH, REUTERS [Ramesh Ponnuru]

Doug Johnson, legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, sent out a press release on the latest partial-birth ruling. Here's an email he got in response from Todd Eastham, the North American news editor for Reuters:

"What's your plan for parenting & educating all the unwanted children you people want to bring into the world? Who will pay for policing our streets & maintaining the prisons needed to contain them when you, their parents & the system fail them? Oh, sorry. All that money has been earmarked to pay off the Bush deficit. Give me a frigging break, will you?"

This is to much.

The bad thing is reasoning like this can be used to justify genocide. Hitler took much the same view of the Jews.

TONYINOHIO WROTE: "Ah, the spirit of Thatcher lives! My favorite quote of hers:"

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money."

That is a great quote! I had never thought about socialism like that before, but it is really just a huge PONZI scheme. Thanks for posting.

I don't know, but there's a "feedback" link at http://www.reuters.com/ where I left my opinion.

'No Mr. Eastham, you give us a break! Just how far does this jerk think...'

He's not just any jerk, he's a knee-jerk, and he doesn't think anything. Liberals operate largely at the spinal cord level, and can actually live without a head for up to two weeks (or so I gather from a recent pest-control commercial.)

At least it is an open admission that the goal is social engineering and not "the mother's health and well being..." etc.

He makes a great case for abortion....by his very existence.

Someday if he doesn't repent God will abort him right into hell.

Wow...you are a modern day "Jael" right out of the Old Testament.

Letter I emailed him:
Sir: A long time ago you let your heart turn to stone. You think the value in life is in how productive a person is. If they are not productive they are expendable. A baby is only a future problem not a great potential so that baby is expendable. What you don't realize is that life is for love. Each one of us is on a journey of love. Our lives are given to us to be an expression of God who is love. We grow better only through knowing love. If you miss this you have missed your own purpose for living. Love does not throw an innocent human being away because we think they are a problem. Love finds a way to embrace that child. This is what being human is about. I hope that you may still have a flicker of true love left in you and hope to fan it so that it can become a great flame of love that will give comfort and light to all. Life is not about practicalities though to be practical may often prove good as long as you let love be your first objective and then practicality comes after. If you don't you become a monster such as Hitler who believed that the Jews were a problem and that they needed to be exterminated for the good of society. There is no end to the evil that such an attitude births. Abortion is no less an evil than to kill any other innocent human being. I know that some how you have become blinded to this fact. Do you not think it is the height of arrogance to believe that your life is more valuable then another innocent person's life? There was a time not long ago that society valued children and placed their protection above all else. This is our responsibility as loving adults, to protect children. To love them with all our hearts. If you want a heart of flesh instead of a heart of stone there is way to receive one. That is by coming to God through his Son Jesus Christ and asking him to forgive you of your sins and let him know that you are willing to submit your heart and life to Him and his purposes. He will change you. He will give you a heart of flesh.
