Should Olympic gymnastics all-around champion Paul Hamm surrender his disputed gold medal, or keep it?
(Excerpt) Read more at forums.prospero.com ...
It is his.
Good article this morning and an interesting perspective on why Hamm should keep the gold.

? how do you vote...?
When I click on your links, it says I've already voted.
Dude, what's with the push-polling? I mean, I would have voted 'yes' anyway, but you didn't have to link directly to 'yes'...
By what explanation other than the whole psychologically tying your self-esteem to how many medals the US wins in the Olympics bit that ya'll seem to do should Hamm keep his medal? Yeah, the rules say it's his, but if he had any integrity he would give it back.
Of course he should keep it... he had the highest score.
I agreed with your position until last night.
There was some very good evidence put out on the table last night on NBC, that if the South Korean gymnast had his scored started at 10.00, after looking at his performance on replay, he would have had more deductions for that routine than the judges gave him for what they thought was a 9.9 routine, and Hamm would have won anyway.
After that, there is no other way than to conclude that Paul Hamm won the gold, deserved the gold, and got the best scores, and rightfully so.
Me, too. I did not vote! It counted the way I would have voted, though. Or said it did.
Your link works but on the other one all you have to do is click on change vote and it will get you to your link
You are using logic and truth. The IOC is using lies and pressure from the South Koreans who also went beserk at the Salt Lake City olympics, brought down the Olympics web site and created chaos over their speed skater not getting a medal.
sure. which is why I was rooting AGAINST the US mens
basketball team the whole time...
