Remember a week ago when Chicago Tribune editor William Rood's column was revealed and we had to endure 24 hours of "Vet/Journalist supports Kerry" crap? Close analysis showed Rood supported the Swift Vets, not Kerry. One aspect I was not aware was in the book, too, was Rood said that Kerry had devised this plan the day before. Now you're showing us that was the Swift Vets' story. Another showing that Rood did not dispute the Swift Vets' account, but rather buttressed it.
My, I'm not surprised, just disgusted that the "journalists" wetting themselves over Rood didn't think to page through "Unfit" and compare.
To be clear: Close analysis revealed Rood supported the what the Swift Vets were saying although he took the position that he was coming out in defense of Kerry.
Almost everything he has said has been shown to buttress the SV documentation and testimony.
