The pretense of it being "pro-choice" is false. It is pro-abortion and nothing but. Planned Parenthood doesn't do much to promote adoption (one can give birth and still follow through with plans not to be a parent).

The term "pro-choice" is used to sign on board those moderates (not the type likely to protest) who say "I would never have one, but...". The women who say "government hands off my body" are the type who would have an abortion (even if their choice of sexual partners would never result in pregnancy).

It's always amazed me that the people who claim to have an absolute right to "control their own bodies" often get pregnant because they failed to "control their own bodies". They not only have such a right but they also have the attendent responsibility.
