This is true now more than ever. If this type of amendment were tried now, it would have schwarzenegger's name all over it, and dems would drop the hammer on it.

Yep. The Democrats do NOT want to see Arnold ever becoming President. He's just too great a political threat. Jennifer Granholm is mentioned as a possible prospect but I don't believe she could compete with Arnold's star power. Bottom line: a constitutional amendment to make naturalized Americans eligible for the Presidency is never gonna happen.
