I couldn't have put it better myself. Bush had nothing but attacks and bad news from Jan to July while Kerry was given a free ride by the media. Bush weathered all the attacks and stood his ground very nicely. Now in August, the focus of bad attention has gone off of Bush and onto Kerry. And Kerry has been in meltdown mood ever since.

I also beg to differ with their statement "hundreds of thousands of protestors" after watching this freak show on C-Span. 50k tops.

Don't forget that every time Kerry tries to make an issue out of something, whether it be election monitoring or the Swifties issues, Bush effectively and efficiently takes the issue away from Kerry. Kerry is a screamer and likes to get noticed by saying he has been put down by "the man". By bending just so little, but enough, Bush has been blocking Kerry from screaming and getting the attention off of himself....

Look for manufactured scandals, joyfully carried by the Media, eg spy scandal, to continue.
