I feel so safe now. Thank heavens he wasn't caught with a SNIPER RIFLE! (insert sarcastic smirck here).
Strictly self-defense against falling TWA airliners, I suppose.
You are probably correct. The media paints firearms with a very broad brush. It won't be long and a 12ga side by side is an asult weapon.
I may be wrong but I think that NY is one of only a few states that forbids Title II permits to persons or corporations. It also specifically restricts all short barreled rifles, silencers, in addition to amending the penal code to include the AWB langauge. When the AWB expires next month we in NY are still stuck with it.
I understand that but this guy is "Frank Mele, 52, of Weehawken, N.J"....with 22 people aboard his boat (and no alcohol I'm sure.)
If he'd waited a week the AWB would be history...but no. Had to defend himself BEFORE the ban expired.
You have to admit, having that stuff in NY harbor during the Pubbie convention is sorta dumb.
Seems like a reasonable arsenal for travel on the high seas. I'd add a couple of handguns before I shoved off.
Well, our Vice President was with Pataki and others giving speeches on Ellis Island today. Boats were going by them in the background. I thought then, that they would have made a perfect target from some idiot in a boat!!!!
Piracy on the open sea.
Well you need guns in case you run across the Priates of the Caribbean.
Nope, the dynamite is for fishing!
NY probably has more illegal guns than any state in the union has legal guns.
patrols in the harbor area, and the waters leading up to it, are crawing with security. coast guard boats, helicopters all over the place.
No you carry dynamite for fishing. Machine guns are for pirates.
Travels in the Carribean -- or third world international ports -- are sometimes troubled by piracy and raiders.
LOL!
I'll defer....obviously, I am not up-to-date on the open water crime wave. (pun intended!)
A pleasure boat was boarded and seized in New York Harbor early Sunday, after three weapons, including a machine gun were found on board, the Coast Guard said.
Okay, tell me how they found the weapons if the boat wasn't boarded and seized until after they found the weapons.
Nor their ass from a hole in the ground |
