Communications Director

Debra DeShong serves as the Communications Director at the Democratic National Committee (DNC). As Director, DeShong is responsible for the planning and implementation of the communications initiatives of the Democratic Party. Working with the Democratic Leadership, surrogates and allied organizations, DeShong coordinates the Party’s message development.

Before recently joining the DNC staff, DeShong served as Communications Director for Senator Mark Dayton of Minnesota. Prior to her work with Dayton, she served as Communications Director for Senator Robert Torricelli and Press Secretary for Congressman Steny Hoyer.

The coordination law only applies to Republicans. Didn't you know that?? Kerry's people and Moveon and others have already admitted it. The media yawned.
