Taking a Ride on Disney's Dark Side (Would be humor if it wasn't too true)

You may mock the Holy Land but my daughter doesn't. She's in awe of Christ as we are too. She's rather know more about Him than a homosexual infested "amusement" park that rips you off every chance it gets.

I don't mock the Holy Land. In fact, I think everyone should visit Israel sometime. I went many years ago and the sense of history it gave me was invaluable.

Do I mock this theme park? You bet I do. If your daughter likes it, that's great. She should visit it often.

You might also want to visit Disney World during the Days of Joy this September. Christian music will dominate the park.

I wouldn't be caught dead at Disney nor would she. We don't knowingly support homosexuals or amusement parks that cater to them. You're right. We DO discriminate as to where we spend our money and time.

Your choice, of course. You'll miss a chance to hear a lot of Christian music groups, though.

As for Gay Days at Disney World, that's not a Disney event. Lots of folks plan things a Disney World, without Disney's cooperation. Disney just sells them tickets.

There are all sorts of private groups which plan events at Disney World. Disney's glad to sell them tickets, but that's about it for support.

OTOH, this Days of Joy is an official Disney event. I'm sure gays are allowed to buy tickets to this event as well, but it's an official Disney event, where Christian musical groups are officially the entertainment. Lots different from Disney "allowing" gays to come to Disney World as a group event.

It's not true that Disney does not sponsor the gay events. Internal memos state otherwise.

Did you know that 30-40% of Disney employees are gay? True and why they cater to same. I've personally been down there on business trips. You ought to meet some of them. The employees are in your face about their gayness.
Even at my daughters young age, she is aware of the emotional problems of these people and wants nothing to do with them. I can't imagine how a "Christian" group would willingly line their pockets.

Being a So. Cal local I’ve been to Disneyland many times …My mom and sister went that first summer it was open and talked for years about being under attack all days by bees(it was still surrounded by orange groves at the time)

When any family came to town we had the drill down pat when to go to beat the crowds what to hit first where to eat…(how to drive the jungle boat guy nuts by saying all his lines just before he did) we had the paper shopping bag filled with dozen of half used coupon books (a lot of left over A & B some C maybe a D never and E”…. and tons of “Great moments with Mr. Lincoln” extra coupon…how many time can you go to that? )

We did the all night “grad night” thing (and the pre“grad night” thing of going a day or so before with smuggled in booze and hiding it in the park for “grad night” they found some but we found some too )

And the last 30 years I've lived close enough to Disneyland that you always know when it’s 9:30 during the summer by the sound of the fireworks… and if you bored you go out front and watch..... And it that time I haven’t gone once…

If you want rides the locals know....Knott’s Berry Farm or Magic Mountain

Also totally my experience. I felt like I was in a fascist state. It was very disturbing. I have no desire to ever return.

I am speaking of the ultra-devoted Disneyworld/land people. I have a few in my family and believe me they take it to extremes, can't even talk about anything other than their last Disney Trip. These are college educated retired teachers....take my word its out there.

I realize that isn't the normal fair. I was just expressing my disgust with some that I know personally...sorry if I offended you.

But...how much do they sell bottle water for there.

You'll have to ask the money changers. They're in the Temple.
