Yes Daschle did vote for it I'm quite sure and I would also be confident he would put that in his ad. We don't watch TV in our house so I miss a lot of the media war. Not an all bad thing.

Out of the loop lately on local politics having been so fascinated with the Kerry meltdown. But here Thune had one debate already which from my just slightly biased opinion, I'm judging he won pretty big. He really put Daschle on the defensive and still was not derided in the Argus Leader, our local liberal media monopoly. So I'm thinking he won pretty handily and the paper couldn't even tarnish it.
Daschle wants to have as few of debates as possible. Thune offered to be in each county with Daschle to have a town hall mtg. Daschle declined. They'll probably have a couple of more.
