I beg to differ...Ron Silver WAS in Die Hard. He was the strung-out coke addict that Alan Rickman's character shot late in the movie...he was much thinner then.

He was also in the movie Blue Steel, with Jamie Lee Curtis.

That wasn't Ron Silver.

Although it's irrelevant, Ron Silver is a card-carrying MENSA member.

Maybe that's why he's seen the light.

The actor you're thinking of in "Die Hard" was Hart Bochner doing Ron Silver.

You're right...I just checked IMDB myself...though it sure looked like Ron Silver, and I've never heard of Hart Bochner...I stand corrected.

His research or his acting as a heartless terrorist type (albeit the caper was a robbery) in "Die Hard" must have given him some insight. He played the part well. At least he knows what chips are in the pot.

His only other claim to fame was a 4th place showing in the annual Ron Silver Lookalike Contest.

Please educate me on this. Are we talking about the guy who stood under some of our war planes flying overhead after Clinton was elected and remembered "that these are OUR planes now" and so he was therefore free to rejoice in their existence instead of hating the USA for having them?

The guy has a right to disagree with Republicans about domestic policy. Frankly, I don't even care if Communists vote for Bush, as long as they agree with us about the War on Terror

A 9/11 Democrat. He's still a liberal but like Ed Koch, he realizes all the government programs won't mean a thing if this country's reduced to a pile of radioactive rubble. That's why a lot of Democrats support President Bush. And just wait til you hear Zell Miller on Wednesday night.

Yep. I voted for Clinton the first time. The reason why I left the Democratic Party was it was moving out of the mainstream and I had begun to realize Clinton's ethics were far from impeccable.

If he's still carrying his MENSA card (actually it's a secret pin), then he may not be that smart.
