An unsurprising comparison

So, there I was flipping channels last night after watching the convention. Greta Van Susteran was hosting her show, and going from commentator to commentator talking about the evening's events.

So, I flip over to CNN, expecting to see similar coverage, and instead I've got Aaron Brown interviewing Bob Herbert about how the GOP campaign strategy is to disenfranchise the black vote in Florida.

Unbelievable.

Exactly the reason I've stopped watching CNN and all the rest with the exception of Brit Hume on Fox. My focus is right here on freerepublic.

The Black voter disenfranchises themselves by bloc voting. What have the Dems ever done for black voters except use them. They need to become a part of the system instead of something the system uses. What major job in the Democrat organisation does a black hold. Oh yeah I forget Donna Brazille makes a fool of herself every so often.

I accidently saw part of a hit piece that CNN did on President Bush Sunday night.

It was probably the most frightening piece of propaganda I've ever seen--more frightening than Leni Riefenstahl and the rest of the Nazi propaganda, and more frightening than D.W. Griffith's Birth of a Nation, even though these had more disastrous consequences--because when I saw these horrifying works of propaganda, I already knew what the outcome would be, and though they were perhaps more horrifying, they were not as frightening.

There's a difference between fear and horror.

The hit piece on President Bush was frightening.

It was much like the commercial, during the Lyndon Johnson presidential campaign of the little girl picking flowers and the nuclear blast going off behind her--or the commercials that crushed the Robert Bork Supreme Court nomination, showing him in sinister shadows with a funereal voice muttering warnings.

The Nazi and racist propaganda of the past is horrifying even today.

The propaganda of the "establishement newsmedia" is both horrifying and frightening, but it's more frightening because we don't know what the outcome will be.

C'Mon...

..I mean, what did you expect from CNN?

Balanced Coverage?

The fact that you guys even flipped to CNN is a disgrace. What a load of crap that "news network" is... I attempted to get it taken off my cable package, but apparently you cannot do that.

"The fact that you guys even flipped to CNN is a disgrace."

You're right. I felt like taking a bath.

Ok, I'll give you that one. Just my penchant for flipping channels, I guess.

Once again, last evening, I found myself on CSPAN so I could just hear the speeches.

So did I. I don't need the "commentators'" remarks. I can understand what's going on for myself--and without the media bias.

LOL:)

There is a reason most of America chooses to watch FNC over their competitors, because FNC provides comprehensive coverage rivaled by no one else in the industry. Have you guys seen the ratings? FNC beat everyone else out of the water!
